Gérardmer, situated in the Northeast of France, is a fantastic vacation destination!
Nicknamed the Pearl of the Vosges (‘La Perle des Vosges’), Gérardmer is an active town surrounded by nature and a beautiful lake. During the summers the lake offers a variety of water sports as well as many hiking trails in the pine tree forests and on top of the Vosges Mountains along the ‘Route des Crètes’.
During winter, the ski resort offers downhill skiing for all skill levels, and cross country skiing on groomed trails that adds up to a length of 100 km.
The vacation apartment on the second floor in chalet ‘Le Panoramic’ has a spectacular view of the lake of Gérardmer and the surrounding mountains. It is centrally located in a residential area, 400 m from the ski lifts, 2 km from the lake, and 1 km from the center of town.
Some of the hiking trails leave directly from the chalet. Large yard is available for exclusive use by the residents of the 7 apartments in the chalet. Two private parking spots are available for each apartment. Capacity up to 4 people.
Gérardmer has a recreation center, with an indoor swimming pool, a climbing wall and an indoor ice rink.
Throughout the year, all kinds of events are organized by the town and the tourist office of Gérardmer. A day trip to the nearby Alsace region or other neighboring French departments is worth while!
